Tefuye
Tefuye is an aboriginal village that is about 1,000 meters above sea level, and 8 kilometers away from Dabang. There are a road and an antiquity trail for people to get to Tefuye from Dabang. The trail which connects Dabang and Tefuye is a scenic trail, and there is a drawbridge horizontally across above the Zengwen river.
The population in Tefuye is about 500 people. It is a quiet and pure village compares to Dabang. However, it has become a popular scenic spot since Alishan tourism became famous. The main landmark is the kuba, which was the place to hold meetings. There are also couple beautiful Christian churches in the administration area.
Since Dabang is close to Zengwen river, most of the areas in Dabang are appropriate for farming. Its main crops are bamboo shoots and mountain vegetables. In the remote mountains of Tefuye, where the altitude is 1,700 meters above sea level, there is a divine tree called Lalaka divine tree. Its circumference is about 24 meters, and is bigger than Alishan divine tree.
